The scent
It starts tart, almost aggressively so, with blackcurrant and citron arriving together. There is a green, leafy bitterness alongside them that keeps the fruit from reading as sweet. Through the middle it settles into something cooler and more mineral, like stone and water. The base is clean, faintly musky and very pale.

Anyone who finds most summer fragrances too sweet or too soapy. It is excellent for the gym, for early mornings, for the office in July, and for anyone who wants to smell awake. Fully unisex. If you already like Afternoon Swim but want something less juicy, this is the other half of that pair.
