What it does
Curly hair tangles because the strands catch on each other at every bend in the spiral. A conditioner coats those bends so they slide past one another instead of knotting, which is why detangling in the shower with conditioner in the hair causes far less breakage than brushing it dry afterwards. How to use it
After shampooing, squeeze the water out of the hair and apply from mid-length to ends, staying away from the roots. Work it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb until the knots let go. Leave it for a couple of minutes, then rinse. For a deeper condition leave it 15 minutes before rinsing, or take a small amount through damp hair as a leave-in and do not rinse at all.
