It opens on the aromatic freshness that makes Sauvage recognisable — AOP lavender from Provence and Calabrian bergamot. Then it deepens. Vietnamese oud, cultivated for over a decade in a certified Dior channel and distilled into a precious essence, brings honey and frankincense facets and a leathery darkness.
The base is what Dior calls a chiaroscuro of noble woods: the dark accents of Indonesian patchouli set against the more radiant Madagascan vetiver and Virginia cedar.

Extrait is concentrated, so less is more. One or two sprays at the base of the neck and on the chest. Skip the wrists if you wash your hands often — it will outlast the day anyway.
